Personality - Shizu believes one becomes strong by struggling and fighting for what they want. However, she expressed contradicting mindsets; she did not want good luck because she felt she could control her fate, but also believed she was marked unlucky and that the world was against her. Her reaction to the perception of the world always set against her is an iron-willed defiance and inflexible determination. She is clever, yet hot-headed, often letting her temper get the best of her. She seemed averse to the thought of accepting challenges without some sort of benefit or entertainment.

History - As a child, Shizu aspired to be the best of the best. A top notch 

trainer with the strongest team and pokémon alike. Very quickly, she

 rose up to power. At the age of fourteen, Shizu became one of the 

youngest trainers to successfully collect eight badges and nearly complete

 her pokédex. When she set her mind to something, it got done. 

Though things didn't stay that way. When her mother fell ill, Shizu was

 just about to challenge the Elite Four. It took her a long time to get back 

in the game. Two years passed before she returned to the competetive

 world of battling.  When she did, her career soared. After many 

battles and seemingly endless work, Shizu has inherited her very own

 gym at the age of sixteen. She was able to pay off her mother's medical bills and had money to spend on fixing up her town.
