An Unexpected Visit (Open, I suppose)

Hurried and disturbed whispers came from the passers by. It was perfectly reasonable, considering Spyder's mere presence in the town was an oddity. The man was a long way from home, after all, and you would suspect a man of his stature having some sort of important and dramatic reason to be in a small town where the main attraction was an anchor. And yet, Spyder offered no explanation, nor excuse.
The vaguely intimidating man had his fur-lined coat hanging off the back of the bench he was sitting on(obviously not used to the coastal weather), facing away from the Pokemart and showing off his rarely seen arms. He absorbed the atmosphere of the town, loving its humble, rustic aesthetic. A nice change from the dramatic mist and ridiculous fog of his home town.
Spyder whistled a gentle tune to himself, absorbing the heat and hoping to even tan his pale skin.

The water surrounding Anchorville began to ripple. The ripple grew bigger and bigger as it came towards the shore. At the last possible moment a lively vaporeon came flying out of the water. It purred loudly as it landed neatly on its feet. The bell on his collar around his neck jangled loudly.

Vaporeon sat down across from Spyder, beating wrapping his mermaid like tail around his body, and crossing his two front paws. Vaporeon stared seriously at Spyder... Before breaking out into laughter and sending a few bubbles floating towards Spyder.

"VAPOOOOOREON!" A voice called out in the distance. Most people would reconiquize this voice- as it belonged to the current elite four champion. Myra came busting through the tall grass looking wildly around. Her male Umbreon followed her female Slyveon. They were both also chanting "REON! REIN!" (Which translates to, "get the hell out! And "This is bullshit.")

The gym leader groaned as the Vaporeon made itself comfortable on top of him. Great, another bloody trainer that can't control their Pokémon... He'd thought to himself moments before a certain someone bursted out of the tall grass. Along with the other two Eevie variants that followed her, Spyder had a wild guess who the troublesome Vaporeon belonged to. Unamused, he pulled the Vaporeon off of him and firmly held it in two hands, approaching the trainer.

"Excuse me miss, but it appears you have a rogue Vaporeon. Please at least try to train your Pokémon. Honestly, you're lucky I wasn't one a those Pokémon thieves." The look on the Gym Leaders face was so, very unimpressed, that you could honestly not find better words to describe it than "I am so very done."

Apparently, the dumbass hadn't noticed who he was actually talking to yet.

Myra raised her eyebrows as Spyder lectured her. She knew who he was - she had to beat him to become the champion after all. That was many years ago however and Myra was much younger.

Myra pushed her heavy, long purple hair out of her face and shook her head with a smile. "I apologize, that vaporeon has always been a pain in the butt." Her vaporeon purred loudly, again releasing bubbles playfully.

Her Umbreon boldly approached Spyder and began to sniff him boldly. "UMMMbreon!" (I remember him! We kicked his ass!) The Umbreon looked at Slyveon and said, "UM, umm, breon!" (You weren't around for this gym battle kiddo.) Slyveon gave Spyder a curious glance and reached one of its ribbons to the pokeballs on his belt, grabbing the pokeball quickly and flicking it into the air.

The pokeball was triggered and one of Spyders Pokemon came flying out.
