Appearance: Spyder loves to look spooky. Not creepy, or scary, or eerie: specifically spooky. The gym leader is quite thin, but is actually very well built and muscular with the silver eyes and silver high lights on one half of his black hair. To add to this, he wears a black face mask over his mouth and nose with an oddly proportioned "X" on it, similar to one on a Drifloon or Drifblim. Ironically, Spyder own neither of these Pokemon. He wears a brown vest covered in unevenly proportioned squares with a large fur lined jacket over the top. Tombstone gym can get pretty cold sometimes. Spyder wears large, baggy black jeans and combat boots for absolutely no reason.

Personality: He is obsessed with acting/being spooky and frightening his opponents. Specifically spooky. Spyder is a generally cool and laid back person. But if he's fighting a challenger, he will always act as insane and deranged as possible, with the sadistic tendencies and spine chilling laughter included. This is all for show of course, but sadly, Spyder is a really good actor. But when not in a battle, he's cool and calm, and has a certain connection with the spirits that can never be broken. In areas that may seem frightening or scary to some, he finds himself relaxed and in complete serenity. Spyder often relaxed in the main battle room of his gym, being calmed by the cold mist and the hollow trees that creep through the walls. He relaxes on the top of his Trevenant, nestled in the branches or chilling on the canopy, listening to soothing nature noises or the song "SPOOKY SCARY SKELETONS." On another note, Spyder loves guessing and card games, along with riddles. He doesn't really respond well to flirtatious behavior, as in he get quite flustered and is put off balance. By using this flirtatious behavior, or perhaps mockery, he can easily be manipulated without his personal knowing.

History: Spyder was raised in a small cottage just outside of the ghostly Hallow town by his adoptive brother, Axel. Or at least, that's what he insisted his name was. Technically, it was a normal adoptive relationship, so Axel was technically the father. But they were more like brothers. It doesn't matter. Before he lived in his little cottage, he lived in the Hallow Town Orphanage. Because of the abnormal amount of ghost types in the area, children were often getting abducted by them. So if any small children are found without parents wandering around the town, they are immediately brought to the orphanage. It was also this reason that Axel Watson was there in the first place. He was studying the ghost types of the town using professional SCIENCE. Investigating what drove the ghost types to this town in particular, why many of these apparitions abduct children and of course: how they even occur. The 23 year old adopted Spyder from the orphanage at the age of 6. They were quite desperate to be rid of him, considering the child himself attracted many ghost types to the orphanage, and he even communicated with them. The main reason for the adoption was of course to study what attracted the ghost types to him. And how he had suck a strong bond with all Pokemon of this type that he met. But over time, Axel came to love this child more than just a subject. So Spyder grew up in this cottage just outside of Hallow Town for many years, until his eighteenth birthday. And sadly, it wasn't because he was kicked out. Axel had disappeared the night before, on one of his night expeditions throughout the woods. They found the man one week later, completely drained of his life force by a rogue Dusclops. The Pokemons handprints were found burned into the shoulders. Spyder was grief-stricken. This has lead to an eternal hatred of Duskull and Dusclops alike. Once he had easily defeated the current Gym Leader of Hallow Town with his supernaturally (hehehe) amazing Ghost types a few years after, he completely moved into the gym, moving the cottage in with him with help from his friends in the forest.

Dreams and Goals: To keep the balance kept between the Ghost types of the forest and the humans of Hallow Town. And to beat his lifelong trypophobia.

Fighting Style: You just gotta Rooooooll with it.

Miscellaneous: The reason for Spyder being so well built is because the mental experiments once done by his brother required him to be in pesk physical condition. Damn y'all he be Spooky. Spooky with a capital ESSS.
